It was released as a single in early 1982, but failed to make any kind of an impression on the charts. What does the band name mean to you three? The name came from a friend of a friend describing a near death experience and claiming to see “a pale white light”. We loved how dramatic it sounded and felt it really fit the mood we were trying to convey in our music. We love the name.
