WebGenius Hour presentations can take a variety of written, spoken or visual forms, such as a multi-modal presentation, a book, a script, a movie or a speech; through cooking, building or performing a community service (amongst other ideas). To conclude a Genius Hour project, students reflect on their experience of the Genius Hour process. WebGenius Hour is an hour set aside each week for my students to research any topic they wish. Students are taught how to research, take notes, and present to the class. This rubric is a guideline for their presentations. Students are allowed to present their knowledge in any format: poster, movie, powerpoint, etc.
