I think mine ended up something like 260 for X and 240 for Y or the other way round, can't remember. Print head always starts from home. There might be an easier way but that's the way I do it. Hi guys, when I load #.stl files into Cura they appear right at the center of Curas print bed, but when I start real printing, there is an offset from center of my Ultimaker Original. For big prints there is a risk of going outside the printable area. WebDec 22, 2024 · This effectively makes it much harder to not achieve a perfect first layer, improving overall print success. Also, IIRC the Ender models have a zero position slightly off of the bed.

That will move your local 0,0 to the new position. You may have to make your build plate smaller in Cura since effectively it will be X220, Y223. WebI notice that Cura is wasting space on my bed by offsetting prints. The particular print I need to do will fit on my bed but Cura doesn't seem to want to allow me to use my entire bed. Looking online I see a setting called "machine_disallowed_areas", but I can't seem to find this in Cura 5 (I'm on 5.2.1, upgrading to 5.3.0 right now).
