웹I'm starting a new game on FF2 PR, and I'd like to see some opinions on magic distribution. More specifically: On PSP I kind of distributed every magic for the 3 characters, but I've read it's better to specialize. ... Esuna and Basuna are a must since status effects hit with 100% accuracy in the PR. 웹Leveling Basuna in FF2 makes it cover more Status Effects it can actually cure (keep in mind Basuna and Esuna are two different Spells in FF2 even. Basuna only cures Effects that don't carry over between Battles, such as Sleep). At level 1, it only removes Venom (a weaker Poison), at Level 2 Sleep and so on.

웹The magic shop has both Esuna (which cures status ailments the persist outside of battle, like blind) and Basuna (which cures status ailments that last for only a single battle, like poison). I’m not a big fan of offensive status magic in early Final Fantasy games, so I usually skip both Fear and Silence, but they’re available if your preferences differ from mine.
